Lana is a photographer and image-maker who uses the camera as a tool to discover the hidden and less noticeable things of everyday life.

Her interests lie in micro worlds, especially through the forms, textures and colours of decay – the hidden beauty of mould and fungus. Scale and size further draws out hidden complexities in which an eye becomes a lake and a mushroom gill becomes a valley.

Her semi-abstract images can be found as prints, posters and textiles, so bringing the hidden back out into our everyday lives.
